Active Release Technique (ART)

ART is designed to treat problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and nerves. It combines precise pressure with specific patient movements to break up scar tissue and adhesions that can build up after injury, overuse, or poor movement patterns.

Post Isometric Relaxation (PIR)

Post-Isometric Relaxation (PIR) is a gentle, hands-on stretching technique used to help muscles relax and lengthen after they’ve been tightened. It works by having the patient lightly contract a muscle against resistance for a few seconds, followed by a controlled stretch.

Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)

Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), also called scraping, involves the use of specially designed metal instruments to provide a soft tissue massage by gently "scraping" the muscle. Applying pressure relieves tension in tight and painful tissue and creates a microtrauma (tiny injury) that ignites the body’s natural healing response, helping tissues move more freely.
